- 1 English muffin
- 3 Oz of chorizo verde
- 1 egg
- American cheese slice
- Butter
- Non-stick frying pan
- Toaster
- Salt
- Ground Black Pepper
Method
Preheat your oven to 400F.
Form a Patty with your chorizo verde, next place in a sheet tray with and into the oven to cook for about 6-7 minutes. Next cook your egg however you may enjoy, we went with sunny side up.
In a nonstick pan melt your butter and crack your egg. While that is doing it’s thing, take your English muffin or choice of bread and toast it to your liking. I took advantage that we have the oven on.
As soon as the chorizo verde patty is cooked through add the slice of American cheese and get ready to build it, place chorizo verde patty with cheese on top of the bottom of the English muffin, slide on over the egg and top off.
Personally I enjoy it with chimichurri!
